SHEERFILL® Architectural Membrane will grace the roof of one of the venues to be used in the World Cup 2014 to be hosted by Brazil. The Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil will use some 40,000m2 of material top form the roof of this structure. This is the first stadium to be awarded with more to follow.

Saint-Gobain is proud to have had four stadiums covered with SHEERFILL Architectural Membrane - Maracanã (Rio de Janeiro), Mané Garrincha Stadium (Brasilia), Mineirão (Belo Horizonte), Arena Fonte Nova (Salvador).
More than 200,000 square meters of membrane was required to complete these four venues. SHEERFILL has been used in World Cup structures for more than 20 years.
