Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has just received an order for 17,000 square meters of SHEERFILL® IIA Architectural Membrane for the retractable roof panels to be used in China’s new Ordos Stadium. SHEERFILL IIA is a higher light-translucency version of SHEERFILL II.
“China continues to build large infrastructure complexes in new cities. These typically include a stadium, gymnasium and swimming pool. Saint-Gobain's SHEERFILL products continue to be the market leader in this emerging market,” says Marcel Dery, Performance Plastics’ Global Sales Manager for Architectural Products. “Our Chinese sales team has been incredibly successful in obtaining this type of project. Their hard work has been rewarded time and time again. This success breeds further success in the market.”
SHEERFILL is manufactured at the Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics facility in Merrimack, New Hampshire.
