Retail: Tosco Center • Tempe, ArizonaRoofing products made with products like SHEERFILL fabric can help cut down on the huge amount which Americans spend to air condition buildings -- about $40 billion annually -- which is about one-sixth of all electricity generated in the United States.  Energy Star-qualified roof products reflect more of the sun's rays than conventional roofing materials.  These innovative products can lower roof surface temperature by up to 100°F, decreasing the amount of heat transferred into a building.  Energy Star-qualified roof products can help reduce the amount of air conditioning needed in buildings and can reduce peak cooling demand by 10 to 15 percent.

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics' SHEERFILL product is made at Merrimack, New Hampshire.
