FABRASORB® II

FABRASORB® is the trademark for a family of acoustically absorptive membranes used as liners in SHEERFILL® Architectural Membrane systems.

Sports: Georgia Dome • Atlanta, GA

A FABRASORB® membrane serves not only to attenuate sound, but also to enhance the thermal characteristics of fabric roof systems.   The performance of FABRASORB materials with respect to permanent building codes is consistent with that of SHEERFILL Architectural Membranes.  FABRASORB products are translucent, non-burning, porous composites based on fiberglass and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
